The Beatles "Twist & Shout" guitar lesson
This simple riff will hopefully be an eye-opener for people wanting to create more out of their standard chords.
All though the whole thing only consists of three chords (D-G-A) - the use of a "connecting" bassline as well as a distinctive strumming pattern makes the whole thing come alive.
The whole tune revolves around this riff, learn it well and you can proudly claim that you master the tune (make sure you can play it with the cd first!).
